Gauteng remains the economic heart of South Africa and a central node in Africa's growth story. Contributing 34% of national GDP and nearly 7% of Sub-Saharan Africa's output, our province carries both a responsibility and an opportunity: to lead Africa's next phase of industrialisation. Yet we are clear-eyed about the challenge before us.
